VMware, the global cloud computing solution provider, has announced the rollout of the 2018 “Tomorrow Edge- Business Innovation Tour”, a session to help enterprises grow their market and accelerate their digital transformation. The company organized the same session in 2017 which was a great success across the 10 cities of India. In the first phase of the session, the company will be covering News Delhi, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, and Pune. The session will be focussing on the growth of the businesses with the utilization of the enterprise technologies like mobility, end-user computing, virtualization, business continuity and disaster recovery. Lately, a forecast conducted by Gartner revealed that IT spending in India will increase from $79.7 billion in 2017 to $87.1 billion in 2018. The analyst firm recommends businesses to move faster than their customer otherwise they will be left behind.

According to the IDC’s “MaturityScape Benchmark: Digital Transformation in APEJ, 2018”, many organizations in Asia-Pacific have progressed in the digital transformation initiative and only 1.2 percent of the organizations in the region meet the gold standard which shows there is an urgent need to adopt digital transformation.
