Based on the United States, the learning platform Udacity today announced a partnership with Microsoft for launching Microsoft Azure ‘Nanodegree’ programme. This programme will strengthen the machine learning (ML) skills of the students.

Aimed at strengthening the ML skills, the Nanodegree programme will provide students with hands-on training, validating and evaluating ML models with Microsoft Azure.

With 200 products and services, Microsoft Azure is a cloud platform that builds, runs, and manages applications with the tools and frameworks of a user’s choice.

The services include databases, analytics, machine learning, IoT, blockchain and more. 85+ percent of Fortune 500 companies are using Azure.

Gabriel Dalporto, CEO, Udacity, said, “We have developed this program in collaboration with Microsoft to offer a deep dive into the world of ML to learners. We believe that our experiential learning approach backed with continuous mentorship and industry-relevant coursework will empower our students to have long and successful careers in Azure technologies.”

Udacity said, “Azure Machine Learning is an enterprise-grade machine learning service to build and deploy models.”

With the help of Azure ML, data scientists and ML engineers will be able to accelerate the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle of building, training and deploying ML models.

In addition to this, the students enrolled in Udacity’s Machine Learning Engineer for Microsoft Azure Nanodegree programme will be able to use the hands-on Microsoft Azure Labs for completing their learning modules.

Julia White, Corporate Vice President, Azure Marketing, said, “Through our collaboration with Udacity to offer introductory and advanced courses on Azure Machine Learning, we hope to expand data science expertise."
