Trial Pay Platform Now a Part of Visa's Merchant Solutions Suite

FOSTER CITY, CA: Visa, announces the acquisition of Trial Pay, provider of alternative e-commerce payment system and the process is expected to be completed by the end of third quarter of 2015. Visa will now integrate Trial Pay into its product portfolio as a straightforward, cost-effective way to help out merchants acquire customers, drive traffic, and increase sales by reaching Visa cardholders with targeted offers.

Visa has always been exploring ways to simplify the options available for customers and retailers for better transactions. Now, the Mountain View based Trial Pay’s technology will strengthen Visa’s merchant offer capabilities and accelerate its ability to drive commerce opportunities via a highly customized, real-time offer to cardholders. The acquisition will also give merchants access to valuable insights provided by Visa’s advanced data and analytics capabilities.

“Trial Pay will strengthen our loyalty and offers platform, which we expect to become a strategic and competitive differentiator that can help merchants build customer loyalty and increase sales in both the digital and physical retail environments,” observes Ramon Martin, Senior Vice President, Merchant Sales and Solutions at Visa.

Merchants can leverage from Visa’s contemporary sale and service offers which include a full set of product offerings that enhance customer engagement and loyalty via highly-targeted marketing solutions, offers, and rewards programs. A diverse set of tools, ranging from Visa Checkout to Visa pay Wave, that help merchants offer seamless, streamlined payment experiences across commerce channels including mobile, e Commerce, and brick-and-mortar.

It also helps in reducing risks with a suite of capabilities that help minimize risk through enhanced customer authorization, risk monitoring and fraud analytics, and with the ability to provide for a secure experience across different form factors.
