When asked to prioritize one feature that will be most important to marketing in the future, 33% of digital marketers replied “personalization” whereas 74% of digital marketers said “targeted personalization” as it increases the customer engagement. “Many companies or brands are applying targeted personalization and are noticing an average increase of 20% in their sales”, says Pradeep Chopra, founder and CEO of Digital Vidya.

To make a user stick to a content for a longer time, companies are taking the help of Artificial Intelligence. Many social media platforms like youtube, instagram etc. are tuned by Artificial Intelligence and get the user engaged in contents. Industry experts claim that Digital Marketing has the potential to reach up to $190 billion by the year 2025 with the help of AI. Digital Marketing enthusiasts are busy in fully optimizing this opportunity for their profit. Artificial Intelligence deeply observes the pattern of the content consumed by user. Since starting, emails have been the favourite platform of digital marketers as it provides them the option of personalized marketing based on user’s taste. Here, they target the specific subscribers by leveraging the data and information they have about the subscriber. It could be information like their first name, the last product they bought, where they live, how many times they log into a particular app or website, or a number of other data points.

Personalized emails are more relevant to subscribers as here they receive an email that is targeted directly at them and provides offers that are relevant to their interests.

This is the most loved and appreciated form of Digital Marketing by the viewers. In most of the social media platforms, a trend of short video clips has started. Keeping these trends in mind, YouTube also started showing short video clips of 15-20 seconds, popularly known as YouTube Shorts among the users. These 15-20 seconds of clips are enough to attract the attention of viewers. The main motto of Digital Marketing professionals is to create such content which can grab the attention of viewers in a short span of time. Once the viewer gets attracted or impressed with that clip, he willenquire about the product or service to avail it. In fact, 52% of consumers admitted that watching short product videos make them more confident in purchase decisions.

Personalized Pop-Ups for User

Everyone has experienced this situation once in a while when scrolling through a webpage, a pop-up ad suddenly comes up on the screen. This pop-up could be of a product or service depending on the pattern of user’s content consumption. Pop-ups have turned to be really effective in triggering the target consumers with certain offers or deadlines on the product. Deadlines on a product push the person to purchase it as the person does not get enough time to think and ultimately buys the product or service without giving a second thought.
