North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) extends its alliance with RouteMatch Software by announcing that it is going to implement RouteMatch’s transit asset management solution in order to fulfill Federal Transit Adminstration’s MAP-21 guidelines. The deal will also enable NDDOT with the capability to monitor and measure performance for safety and resource planning through greater visibility into vehicles and facilities.
NDDOT is currently using RouteMatch’s intelligent transportation platform for statewide scheduling, routing, dispatching, and coordination for rural demand response systems.
As per the deal, RouteMatch Software besides providing transit asset management design and implementation, will also provide associated management consulting, data collection, system integration, and professional services as part of a comprehensive service delivery.
RouteMatch will provide additional services to NDDOT that include: comprehensive maintenance module for work order and assignments; schedule management; inventory management and pricing; capital asset inventory management tools; investment prioritization management; access to manuals, parts catalogues, videos, and images for leaner and cleaner maintenance; a unified database that provides a single-pane-of-glass architecture to correlate, analyze, and report on data statewide.
