FREMONT, CA: Merchant Link, a provider of payment gateway and data security solutions and Verifone, an electronic payment solution adds Verifone SRED validated device support to the TransactionLink middle ware solutions. The addition enables easy Europay, Mastercard and Visa (EMV) and contactless payment acceptance on Integrated POS Systems (iPOS).
TransactionLink removes cardholder data from iPOS Systems and stores in a secure vault. It features customer-facing, EMV capable Verifone payment terminals that prompt consumers through the whole purchase process while delivering the complete sale information back to iPOS. The integration between the two companies enables secure acceptance all types of payments including EMV, NFC and magnetic stripes.
While swiping with Verifone SRED validated device, the data of transactions are hardware-encrypted to prevent malware from skimming cardholder. The encrypted data captured, replaced with tokens using format-preserving tokens and allowing merchants to perform cardholder analytics on purchase data.
“We have added Verifone device support to TransactionLink based on customer demand and the quality and security of Verifone’s solutions. By adding support for Verifone SRED validated devices to TransactionLink we are able to extend additional EMV terminal options to our merchants and iPOS partners,” says Geoff Krieg, VP, Product Management, Merchant Link.
