IO Integration (IOI), a global leader in marketing technology solutions, in conjunction with its partner censhare, unveiled version 5.4 of the censhare content management system (CMS) at the MarTech 2016 event in San Francisco on March 21.

censhare is an integrated content creation, management, and publishing solution that enables companies to manage their communications, integrate any type of information, and engage customers with contextual, timely campaigns across a range of digital and traditional marketing touchpoints, and measure results. censhare version 5.4 extends the functionality of the groundbreaking CMS with a host of new features, including:

Goals - censhare now supports user-defined goals for different asset types like campaigns, companies, departments and persons. Goals can be provided with start and finish dates and any values and metrics, from revenue to interactions such as read, buy or commented. New reports show all users the current development of all goals available automatically.

3D support - With the new asset type "3D model" the management and production of 3D data is integrated in the censhare workflow. censhare supports a number of MIME types - among others AutoDesk, Blender, Unity and Maya - so that the 3D production can be seamlessly integrated into existing processes.

Communication - censhare improves collaboration with new function markers that can be set for all file types, including images and image areas as well as audio and video segments. They can be related via drag-and-drop with all information in the system. censhare now also supports the creation of tasks directly in the communication widget. So all markers, annotations or chats can be directly linked to tasks and integrated into the workflow.

Web-to Print - The Web-to-Print module has important new features, including support for Adobe InDesign snippets. Snippets can be saved as assets in the system and then be used in designing layouts. Content can be edited in a dialogue in the same window, a new function checks placed images on their resolution and layout templates can be selected and changed by click.

Adobe InCopy Editor - The integrated editor for Adobe InCopy documents now also offers support for anchored boxes. A change tracking function can be turned on or off on request to check any changes visually in addition to the available versioning. Changes can be accepted or rejected by clicking.

Content Editor - The Content Editor has received numerous enhancements, including the server-side Hunspell spell checker, improvements to the visualization of interactive elements and lists, the addition of an XML view, and a preview for the online channel.

Additional features provide enhancements around search, metadata, image editing, UI control, planning, digital asset management, workspaces, social networking, UI elements, and administration.

Mike Holt, CEO at IO Integration said, “With so much riding on an organization’s ability to deliver contextual content across multiple platforms these days, censhare 5.4 provides the advanced tools that really simplify multi-channel marketing.” Adds Rainer Heckmann, COO at censhare, “The new features and improvements in censhare 5.4 are giving users more flexibility than ever—and that translates into pure market advantage.”
