Goodera Unveils New Technology-Enabled Partner Support, Compliance, and Impact Assessment Modules At CSR Amendment 2021

With newly added capabilities, Goodera is now aimed to make it easier for companies to ensure compliance with the latest government rules on CSR (corporate social responsibility) spends in India Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (NewsVoir). In accordance with the newest updates to the Indian CSR laws, Goodera says new offerings for its CSR solutions will be helping companies seamlessly adapt to the changes in the CSR policy without hassles.

Goodera launched the Goodera Compliance Module, Goodera Impact Assessment Module and Goodera Partner Module and the offerings combine technology with rich domain expertise and a plethora of services for helping companies in aligning and upgrading their CSR policy, programmes and processes to stay compliant with the new amendments.

The newly completed amendments to Section 135 of the Companies Act 2013 have been approved as of January 2021. The amendments have added stringent responsibilities on corporates for ensuring their planning, implementation, and assessment of their CSR programmes more rigorously.

The amendments have affected all aspects of the CSR lifecycle – from design, implementation, and monitoring to reporting of the adopted CSR activities.

According to the Goodera Compliance Module, Goodera’s team will be assisting corporates in the creation of an annual action plant with a separate budget and finance module for planning annual allocations, allocations, disbursements, invoicing, unspent amounts, and surplus budgets. This will help in capturing direct, indirect costs and CAPEX, OPEX for each project and aggregate data for reporting convenience.

The solution further helps in expedition of CFO approvals through its uniquely designed workflows.

The Goodera Impact Assessment Module for Corporates states that Goodera has appended its technology stack for selling technology enabled Impact Assessment for clients. It will include giving access to their web and mobile applications, and integration of IVRS with their CSR portal for undertaking detailed impact assessment, provide beneficiary profiling, understanding of project insights, and demonstration of Impact. It is an end-to-end solution offering insights from existing and the baseline report for planning effective field assessments, automated and standardized forms determined by logical framework and theory of change modeling for survey simplification and data collection, and detailed reports underpinned by insightful dashboards.

The Goodera Partner Support Module states that one of the major action items for NGOs will be to acquire new registration completed within a defined timeline. The Partner Support Module supports NGOs with providence of the necessary support for submission of the e-form CSR-1 on the MCA portal and in obtaining a unique CSR Registration number. The latest offerings allow companies in scaling the challenges and hurdles faced by CSR community.
