For preventing road fatalities, Saab to collaborate with Tech Mahindra

Including public safety, road traffic safety, smart cities, mining sites and environmental protection, Saab will collaborate with Tech Mahindra on the civil security solutions across various sectors. By collecting real-time road monitoring data, Saab will be completely focused on reducing road fatalities in India
Jagdish Mitra, Chief Strategy Officer and Head Of Growth, Tech Mahindra said, “We are happy to utilise our core competency of technology to deliver industry-specific civil security solutions that ensure safety around critical public infrastructures like public safety, airports, government areas, mining sites and others."
He further added, "The partnership with Saab is in line with our TechMNxt charter, aimed at delivering solutions and services to address real-world problems that can meet the evolving and dynamic needs of customers.”
This massive partnership would be a collaboration of 15 partners including Swedish and Indian companies, IIT Delhi, the Indian Institute of Science and Swedish universities and research institutes.
