Insurance Technologies, LLC, a provider of sales and regulatory automation solutions for the insurance and financial services industries, announced today the successful implementation of FireLight® for CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (CFS) and its sister broker dealer Sorrento Pacific Financial, LLC (SPF). The FireLight e-application solution enables CFS and SPF to provide their Credit Union and bank partners, and advisors an automated way to capture and close in good order sales for multiple carriers and product types on one system.

CFS selected FireLight as their e-application solution for its ease of use, flexibility to integrate into their existing processes and unique workflows, and system accessibility. As a sponsor company supported solution, FireLight provided CFS and SPF a competitive cost effective solution that paralleled their implementation goals.

To continue to advance their technology support for their diverse suite of financial institution partners and advisors, CFS and SPF selected FireLight to deliver an intuitive and mobile electronic application and automated compliance solution. The intuitive platform of FireLight provides CFS and SPF advisors a friendly and familiar application completion process, making the transition from existing workflows to a fully electronic process, a smooth experience. With built-in business rules, FireLight generates the appropriate up to date broker dealer and carrier application form package, directing the advisor through an easy step-by-step process from carrier managed in-good-order data capture, to electronic signature capture, to automated compliance, increasing efficiency and allowing the advisor to spend less time on the sales process and more time on serving their clients.

“FireLight’s easy-to-use interface and e-signature capabilities streamline the sales process and support our strategy of enabling advisors at our financial institutions to serve their clients efficiently, whether they are meeting in person or are far apart,” said Mitzi McMillin, Senior Vice President of Business Systems for CFS and SPF. “Our advisors can now rest assured that their variable annuity applications are in-good-order, compliant and available whenever and wherever they are working.”

FireLight integration with CFS and SPF proprietary dataVISON® client and account management system will seamlessly incorporate existing client information, transaction documentation and product specific data into FireLight, streamlining data capture and creating a complete broker dealer and carrier application for suitability review and carrier submission. The flexibility of FireLight allows CFS and SPF to set suitability data capture rules and post-submission review queues to automate and expedite the overall application approval and submission process for their advisors, while managing records electronically.

“At Insurance Technologies, we continue to be excited about the real value FireLight brings to the industry and are proud to be able to provide this value to CFS, SPF and their extensive network of banks and credit unions they service,” said Jim Ferrell, Vice President of Business Development. “The FireLight platform continues to show the industry the broad reach, flexible capabilities and market leading value it provides; redefining the financial expectations with distribution. With each new client, we are providing a commitment to delivering exceptional value and bringing end user adoption rates that exceed client expectations.”
