Bigcommerce helps their clients to customize their store through API and HTML/CSS editor, or by leveraging the apps provided in their app stores.  Bigcommerce rolls out timely automatic software upgrades, servers and PCI compliance support for Bigcommerce stores.

On the other hand, Square facilitates agile and real time tracking of sales through Square register by recording payments and, issuing of refunds. Square Register’s other functionalities include sending the receipts via emails, printing them and, also gives options to customize the receipts with business’s logo and a photo.
