ALM Realigns Business Strategy and Sales to Remove Silos
ALM is realigning its business strategy and sales teams to remove silos and create new cross-industry opportunities for target audiences and advertising clients in insurance, finance, legal, management consulting and commercial real estate markets.
“We’re continually challenging ourselves to further break down silos, transform legacy models and more effectively scale our insights to give our professional communities what they want, when they want it on the right platform,” said Bill Carter, CEO at ALM. “The realignment of sales teams will allow clients to more easily buy across our portfolio of publications, events and other products,” said Carter. “The creation of new positions to lead business strategy and manage paid content and advertising are essential to our continued growth,” he added.
- Allan Milloy’s promotion to Chief Sales Officer, Paid Content to unify sales efforts for all media subscriptions, reference solutions and event delegate sales.
- Matt Weiner’s promotion to Chief Sales Officer, Marketing Solutions to unify sales efforts of all advertising, marketing services and custom programs.
- President of Media, a new position–to be filled in the coming weeks—to create products to bridge customer needs, segmentation and growth strategies across paid content and advertising.
These moves follow ALM’s June announcement of promotions to its senior editorial leadership team as part of its ongoing company-wide integration of talent into a new global newsroom.
