AKTU conducts UPSEE to intake students. Such was the demand for Engineers in the last 2 decades.

As per NACE’s survey, Engineering is among the 7th highest paying bachelor degrees. They are in demand and each sector of industry needs an engineer to plan and plot ideas and this makes them one of the highest-earning jobs. It is not easy to become an engineer. It not only involves money but also takes a lot of hard work. Studying engineering from a reputed college or university will give proper exposure to a better opportunity. The demands of engineers are at peak with a handsome paycheck. Engineering is of many types and each has its benefits in terms of perks and salary. The highest-paid is petroleum engineers of around $74,240 as a starting paycheck. Engineering is a lucrative career and the salary varies as per specialization. The average salary of engineering students is much higher than any other bachelor's students.

Engineering has an important role in protecting society like health, property, public welfare, environment, and economic interests. Engineers facilitate the function of modern society and they help to connect, supply and protect society in various ways. Water, gas, electricity, sewage infrastructure, telecommunication, and reliable phones and broadband are all because of engineers. There are many protective projects done by engineers such as building flood defense in which people living near rivers are protected by the plan made by engineers. They protect historical buildings by fitting some extra mechanical support and by this way past are preserved and the future can be enjoyed. They highly contribute to making the environment greener and friendly. Many engineers are working with the urban design team so that a healthy environment and greener space are preserved for the future generation in urban areas.
