10 Online Portals By Government That You Must Know AboutIn taking a step towards e-governance, the Indian government has been working actively in creating diverse new government portals to help the citizens to get the work done from the comfort of their homes, which has become all the more important during the COVID-19 pandemic. Listed below is a list of 10 online portals of Government that you should be aware of as it can prove to be extremely handy for fulfilling different requirements. 
1. CoWIN
What is more important during COVID-19 if not a portal to make the entire process of staying safe an easy task. CoWIN is an open-source platform that allows citizens to book their vaccination slots. Further, after taking the vaccination, it can be used to download the vaccination certification which is often required while travelling. 
2. PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi
This portal is created by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare to facilitate the PM Kisan scheme. The PM Kisan is a central sector scheme that receives its complete funding from the Government of India. First functional in the year of 2018, the scheme provides income support to the farmers. The portal can be used for new farmer registration, check beneficiary status, the status of self-registered/CSC farmers and check the beneficiary list. 
3. Goods and Services Tax (GST) Portal 
GST Portal makes life easier for the taxpayers by enabling them to do almost everything from GST registration to filing of GST returning online. The services provided by the GST portal includes registration, payments, user service, refunds, e-Way Bill System and track application system. The portal is helpful to both taxpayers (normal/TDS/TCS) and GST practitioners. 
4. Shadi Anudan Portal
Even though India was hit hard in 2020, it did not stop weddings from taking place even when the people were finding it difficult to manage their wedding. Shadi Anudhan is a portal created by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to provide financial assistance to the bride's family for carrying out the wedding. If eligible, the General, SC, ST, OBC category along with minorities can register and check their form status through this portal. 
5. Apna Khata
It is an online portal created by the Government of Rajasthan for managing different land records. The portal is also popular by the name E-Dharti. Using this portal it is easier for the residents of Rajasthan to check and update their land records. Apna Khata was created with the aim to create transparency in managing the entire land hold record without the requirement of physically visiting the office for the same. 
6. Parivahan Sewa
This portal was created with the help of the Ministry Of Road Transport and Highways. On this portal, one can check the status of a driving license. For knowing the status, the user has to provide the following information: driving license number and date of birth followed by entering the verification code. The format for entering the driving license number is explained on the website itself. 
7. IGRSUP
IGRSUP is another portal created by the Government of Uttar Pradesh with the help of the Stamp and Registration Department. The portal can be used for registering and receiving property and marriage certification. In addition to it, the IGRSUP portal can also be used to avail services like Certified Copy of Deeds, Exemption Certificate and Certificate of Registered Instrument.
8. NSDL Online PAN Application
It is a platform created by the Tax Information Network of the Income Tax Department to apply for online PAN replication. In addition to that, registered users can also check their pending application status by providing their temporary token number, along with their email id and date of birth.
9. EPFO Portal 
EPFO Portal refers to Employees’ Provident Fund Organization, India. The services of this portal are managed by the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Services offered by the EPFO portal includes a provisional monthly estimate of payroll, principal employers- CAIU portal, pensioner’s portal TRRN query search international workers portal and eKYC portal. 
10. National Portal Of India
Last but not the least, and the most important portal of all is the National Portal of India created by the Government of India. On this portal, it is possible to check and find other portals of various other departments of the government. All the different portals available are categorized on this website on the basis of different departments for easy searchability.
