Envy portfolio: HP launches its premium laptops for creators in India

Catering to the growing communities of creators, YouTubers, photographers, vloggers and short filmmakers in the social distancing times, PC and printer major HP Inc is all set to launch a wide premium portfolio of laptops and workstations in India next week.

As per the sources, there would be two kinds of laptops in this segment, where first one would be Envy 15 which will have superior specifications and would be priced around INR 1.20 lakhs. Another would be known as Envy 13 which would be priced around INR 75,000.

Also according to the sources, on top of these laptops, it is expected that HP would be also launching robust mobile workstations for professional creators. These mobile workstations would include HP ZBook and Create, HP Zbook studio.

These tools would be specially targeted towards creators who require the right set of technologies and tools to bring out their inner capabilities and potential.

According to the IDC report, a share of 32.8 per cent in the second quarter takes HP Inc. to the top position in the overall PC market in India.

Moreover, another factor which has aided the company to maintain its leadership in the overall PC category is its strong performance in the commercial segment.

Furthermore, as its shipments grew 11.8 per cent (YoY) in 2Q20, HP witnessed a positive annual growth rate in the commercial segment and was the only company among the top five companies to create such an annual growth rate.
