Taking India towards a Glorious 2015

By

The promising economic scenario in the European and American geographies seem to be showcasing their positive impacts on the Indian IT sector. According to estimates, the 2015 fiscal is bound to experience growth for the Indian IT services sector between 13% and 15%. CIOs’ are also constantly expanding their IT budgets as they ride the growth wave. India Inc promises to deliver 10 lakh new jobs by 2015 and it is without a doubt that the IT service industry will form a big chunk of this spurt. Consolidation, optimization and cost transparency programmes have made decentralized IT investments more visible and noted, thus leading to increase in “recognized” IT spending. It is a positive outlook as the government- in all seriousness takes forward the `Digital India' and `Make in India' projects. With many startups moving out of India because of regulatory and funding concerns and with rigorous compliance requirements for SME’s and small companies alike, 2015 promises to be the game changer as India points toward having a single window approach towards funding and compliance issues. The IT scenario, although it did not showcase a metamorphosis towards drastic growth, did take some huge strides towards making India a stronger player globally. However all of these positives came about due to a strong flex of muscles from the IT providers of the nation. CIOReview believes that it is our responsibilities to showcase companies that have performed exceptionally well in 2014 and are today poised to take the nation into a glorious 2015.

CIOReview is proud to present our maiden company of the year issue where we recognize the IT organizations that have led the charge for India Inc in terms of Innovative practices, stellar growth and unparalleled work ethics.
