Quytech: Riding the Tide of Mobile App Development

By

The enterprise mobile solutions market is maturing incessantly. However the level of maturity varies with different verticals of industry. The reason behind this divide can be attributed to the overall health of an industry vertical and awareness about mobility solutions. Quytech, headquartered in Gurgaon, had the foresight to comprehend the prospect of Enterprise Mobility becoming a game changer and thus gained an early mover advantage in this arena."From the beginning, the company focused on developing innovative applications and did not pursue outsourcing strategy like other mobile app companies." says Siddharth Garg, CTO, Quytech.Considering the current orientation of enterprise mobility towards software (apps) that can be used on generic devices.

Quytech concentrates on areas in an enterprise which are best served using mobile platforms. The company has a Mobile First strategy through which it tries to fix problems related to remote or field workers. This approach has thrown up numerous areas where it can help enterprises bring their remote or field workforce closer to the central office.Quytech has launched a solution for Mobile Sales Force Automation by the name of Pep Up Sales to manage and track primary and secondary sales along with field force while on the move. It does Route planning, Order Taking, Distributor Management and Location tracking on real time basis apart from many other such operations giving the better visibility to the companies. The solutions provided by the company are efficient on key parameters of technology and support. They consume less battery and data resources than other solutions. The organization also scores on the support front by providing hand holding and continuous guidance to its customers to make their deployments successful.

The biggest challenge is from within the enterprise itself. The various stakeholders need to come on board to make the deployment successful. There are times when the sales teams are not very keen to take up the solution. Quytech understands the client’s processes and the behavior of the teams/stakeholders. It works with the clients to improve their processes continuously with the motive of delivering a solution rather than selling a product and hence enables the clients to visualize an ROI emerging from the deployment. Moreover, the company keeps on updating the solution for better performance and eventually becomes long term partners with its clients.Within a small span of four years, Quytech has been fortunate to hold each and every customer whether small or big corporate just because of the solution and services provided to them globally.

Once clients start getting data which was earlier not available, they ask questions and want solutions to answer them. Quytech uses this opportunity to propose other mobility solutions that can be useful for them.As a result, the quick response and turn around capabilities of the company has been appreciated by many clients.Looking ahead, as there is a lot of ground to be covered in Enterprise Mobility, Quytech is expanding into newer markets and developing more solutions. The company plans to venture into new verticals where mobile technologies can make a significant difference to enterprises.
