Perdix: Designing Keeping End-Users In Mind

By

A great product experience is becoming imperative as it becomes a clear differentiator, that users take into account while choosing a product from among those having similar offerings. It is no surprise thus, that the demand for good UX/UI solutions providers is at an all-time high. UI/UX designers not only have to create aesthetically pleasing products but they have to design products that are habit-forming, engaging and functionally efficient and which work well for the entire spectrum of users that the product caters to.

Tackling these issues, Bengaluru headquartered Perdix has established itself as a noteworthy UX/UI solutions provider. They have worked on products in domains like like e-commerce, healthcare, fitness, travel, fin-tech, ed-tech and even on products designed for toddlers! Their design services are very comprehensive and cover UX/UI design, concept explainer videos, design for marketing and branding, character design (sticker/emojis) and brand identity design. “We’ve worked with companies like the People Group, Eros International, the Art of Living Foundation and several other companies both in India and elsewhere. We are fortunate to have worked on very diverse products and this makes us confident that we can create first-rate product experiences for any kind of target audience. We’ve also created brand identities (logos, brand guidelines and collaterals) for a number of companies and have helped them devise their brand strategy and brand positioning, always ensuring that the brand appeals to its target audience and gives them a sense of what the brand brings to the table. We are able to deliver good results consistently, because of the significant amount of time we spend in understanding a brand or a company’s target consumers.”, says Srijan Maulick, CEO, Perdix.

Stickers/emojis for chat apps, is one of their niche offerings. They have created stickers and emojis for messaging apps like Facebook Messenger, Apple iMessage, Skype, Viber, WeChat, LINE, Nimbuzz and several others. Their work has helped increase product adoption and user engagement in India and other geographies for a lot of these apps. Another one of their specializations is concept-explainer videos and instructional/how-to videos for products. They have created videos for a number of companies like Flipkart, AskMe, Art of Living Foundation and more.

Perdix understands the need to evolve with how Human Computer Interaction is evolving. Voice UIs and gestural UIs are being used more ubiquitously (For eg. “Ok Google!” and “Hey Siri!”)and will become even more relevant with people embracing AR/VR and smart home devices. “We are going to be ramping up our UX/UI team over the next few years and create solutions for clients that are in keeping with how the ways in which people interact with technology, are changing. What will not change for us is the high quality of the services that we offer.”, concludes Srijan.
