Infiniti Software Solutions: Powering the Travel Industry with Innovative & Affordable Solutions

By

Travel and hospitality industry seems to be going through a quality crisis in terms of work force and automation tools. The labor cost is sky rocketing, making manual work a costly affair for the travel industry. Going through profitability issues, the airlines, corporate, travel agents and other players of the industry are all looking for cheaper, smarter and technology enabled solutions that would streamline their tasks, save significant cost and improve overall efficiency of their businesses. Sensing the exigency, Ananth Narasimhan incepted Infiniti Software solutions in 2005. Today, its travel management tools are being used by over 100 companies across India who have reported a least of 15 percent increase in savings among other benefits.

Ananth initially started Infiniti as a travel technology consulting company. But with success coming in, the company started working with airlines and devising innovative technologies to help corporates maximize revenue and minimize costs. Today, the Rs.100 crores worth company holds over 150 corporates, more than 10 major airlines and other big clients in its clientele basket. Some of its major clienteles are Kotak Mahindra Bank, Spice Jet, Tiger Air, WPP Group and others. The organization has seen tremendous growth since inception and has nearly tripled its size in the last five years. Infiniti's innovative corporate travel technology has made it one of the few travel management companies to offer flexible products that effortlessly fit into a company's enterprise resource planning system.

In past few years, the travel and hospitality industry has gained enormous pace and unless businesses run parallel to this ongoing change, it would be hard for them to survive and make money in this competitive market. For instance, travel & expense management is a poorly automated area in India. Most companies use manual, sheet based solutions that lead to confusion and delayed processes. While there are branded enterprise software that solve this piece of the conundrum, subscribing to this particular feature on per customer basis costs a lot and is rarely opted by any enterprise. This is where Infiniti bridges the gap by offering industry specific solutions at a very reasonable price making them affordable, adaptable and profitable.

Currently, Infiniti provides Revenue Management Software, Booking Engine and Corporate Solution Software for the airlines, travel & expense management solution for corporate and automation tools for travel agents. "We see ourselves strongly positioned with respect to technology and our cost structure to reach out to the global market. We are well aware of the profitability issues that the industry is going through and our focus is to rescue them with cost-effective and innovative solutions," says Ananth Narasimhan, MD & CEO of the Chennai based Infiniti Software Solutions. Additionally, the company has offices in Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi. Infiniti aims to be a global travel and technology company and wishes to soon have offices in Singapore and U.S to expand its footprint.
