Even though cloud-platform offer several advantages that make cloud based solutions compelling to businesses worldwide; there are still several alarming issues of WAN speed, latency, high bandwidth cost and portability impacting the adoption of cloud computing. Fostering an effective cloud strategy to handle these issues, Thane based firm Applied Cloud Computing (ACC) has extended its expertise of cloud security and storage services, to enable organizations securely adopt current cloud technologies. “ As we enable our clients to integrate with cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Google Drive and open stack; they are ensured of cloud data privacy with expected efficiency,” says Nilesh Satpute, Founder & CEO of ACC. He has worked with Hexaware, IBM, HP and Wipro before establishing ACC in 2012.

Influenced by Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and configuration management database (CMDB) as the driving force; ACC delivers Cloud storage Service and Open Stack cloud-in-a-box storage appliances. This enables users and partners to optimize personal cloud in order to ensure cloud data privacy, cost savings and enhanced efficiency.

Integration with various applications and websites is done by using Command line interface, XMLRPC and API; which leads to consolidated management and control of cloud during initial backup support and future assistance. “Our authentication mechanism is integrated with client’s application to ensure security of data from unauthorized access. Consequently, our solutions are flexible to be made private or public which is based on client’s preference,” adds Nilesh. For additional security, a dedicated underlying physical hardware spindles are provided if preferred by clients who seek for isolation of data for compliance or performance reasons.

This leads to precise control of every parameter with scalability, good performance and the capability to provision virtual servers with granular levels of customization. “By provisioning with virtual CPUs, Disks and Networks; it is possible to specify options for dual site Internet breakout, high availability firewalling, intrusion prevention and load balancing as well as additional security elements and other regulatory requirements,” points out Nilesh. In addition to the technical capability of the highly resilient infrastructure, ACC has also built a service layer that delivers fully customizable management and monitoring to the individual component. Following various cloud based storage solutions, ACC’s blueprint is to consolidate storage infrastructure of enterprises by aligning IT resources with business priorities.
